Outdoor Glen Gardens Wedding, Fredericksburg, VA | Nicole & Chris

On a crisp and cloudy day, an intimate gathering of guests began filling the chairs quietly outside under the green ivy pergola. Just outside Fredericksburg in beautiful Stafford County, Virginia, twinkle lights wrapped the trees and tiny candles flickered on the tables in the garden setting. After the ceremony, we wandered around grounds of the venue, enjoying the rolling hills, antique barns, and horses as we shot portraits.

When Nicole and I initially met, we talked about the importance of family during the wedding day. From the very beginning, family came first- Chris had his boutonniere pinned on by his son while Nicole had her first look with her dad. Their ceremony included both of their sons as they gifted them watches to symbolize joining their families. Nicole and Chris danced the night away with their closest family and friends until the venue closed.

It was an absolutely perfect, intimate wedding full of heart and it was an honor to document.
