Alex and Ryan’s wedding at the gorgeous Norfolk Botanical Gardens was lovely to be a part of from start to finish. They planned their wedding from across the country because they live on the West Coast, but originally met in the Norfolk area.

The thoughtful touches on their day did not go unnoticed- they had a fully plant-based vegan menu, a towering cake adorned with roses, signature cocktails, and a cotton candy machine for all of their guests to enjoy. Another cute detail- their wedding was on the first day of Pride month!

The grounds of the botanical gardens gave a stage for Alex and Ryan’s celebration of love- they processed up the aisle into their ceremony holding hands. They said their vows in Renaissance Court, a beautiful waterfront location in the gardens with palm trees and sculptures. Afterwards, they had cocktail hour on the lawn of the Statuary Vista gardens.

Their dance party was incredible (possibly fueled a little bit by the signature cocktails) and they danced the night away. It was an honor to be a part of their wedding day!
