Madalyn and Chance’s wedding day was full of style, romance, and packed with meaning from beginning to end. The day took place at The Cavalier Hotel where Madalyn’s parents married 36 years ago.  We staged some comparison photos in the exact spots where Madalyn's parents stood in 1984. It was adorable to see Madalyn standing where they once were, and seeing how much has changed yet stayed the same.

Madalyn says, “We worked closely with the hotel to recreate my parents' wedding, which also made it completely unique and different from what most brides typically do at the hotel. We wanted everyone to feel like they were at an event so we used the pool area and kept the reception cocktail style so that everyone could mingle - just like my parents' wedding!""

As for their elegant wedding style, she says, “For myself, I chose a simple fitted gown with a low back and rhinestones on the sides. I paired my dress with silver glitter Jimmy Choo shoes and long dangling rhinestones earrings - it's all about the details and accents! For my husband, we chose a green tartan jacket resembling Black Watch - a Scottish tartan to represent my husband's Scottish roots on his father's side.

We really personalized our wedding by choosing a unique space (the pool area) for the reception. Everyone had a great time dancing and mingling - no one was stuck at a table and it allowed us to talk to everyone!”
